I am a single mother of one in her 30s. I am not much of a writer...in fact I suck. The most I can do is poetry. I am, unfortunately, a perfectionist and a very logical person. This means that when I write, I have to make sure that I'm understood, so I'm always going back and adding things here and there to make myself PERFECTLY clear, which makes my stories wordy and very uninteresting to read.
I read some author's stories and I just fall in love with the characters because the authors are able to put emotion in them and mold them into real people. I have not been able to do this. But writing is not my forte. I can blog...but that's it.
So I would like to thank all the writers out there who take the chance to put their stuff on the web for everyone to read. Whether or not you're aspiring writers or just doing it for fun. Someone out there will enjoy it.
Not everyone likes the same thing. I love Harry Potter with a sub!Draco. But I've found some incredible stories outside this fandom. I have a great imagination that puts words to pictures, but realize that I can't put those pictures to words. I'm a reader. So I'd like to thank all the writers who have befriended me despite this.
